​Oktoberfest is a historic folk festival celebrated for 16–18 days in Bavaria, Germany and imitated throughout the world. Oktoberfest began in 1810 as a celebration of the marriage between Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. Today, it's a festival to celebrate the food, music and traditions of the Bavarian people while enjoying time with friends and family.
